My Story
Imagine: The worst smelling place EVER!!
Would you believe me, if I told you that the first time I experienced Scentsy was in a public restroom!?
And not just any old restroom, it was... Oh wait, let my squirrel brain stay on topic... I promise I'll describe the bathroom shortly, since I know that's why you're here (wink, wink).
Before walking into this hole in the wall restroom, I just knew that when I opened the door there would be a stomach churning smell. Surprisingly, I was delighted with a smell that was as if fruit punch had a baby with all things heavenly! It was nothing like I'd ever smelled before, let alone in a dingy public restroom! Let's be real, you know what I'm talking about.
Myself and my daughter both looked at each other and exclaimed, almost in unison, “It smells so good in here!”
We were greeted by an eavesdropping, cute little elderly lady. She swung open the stall, looked us deep in our eyes, and in the cutest sweet voice she said:
"Oh that's just my Scentsy, I spray this sh*+ on everything." And just like that, she tucked the spray back into her bra and walked away.
Needless to say my daughter and I were in stitches; I almost didn't make it to the stall in time!
A tiny woman with a mouth like a sailor left an impression on me; I knew I had to find out what this "Scentsy" was all about!
All I wanted to do was find that sweet aroma! I couldn't wait to reunite with my cell service, the sweet, punchy aroma was firmly attached to my memories! After all, it made a worn down, raggedy bathroom, down a dark, scary back road, smell like sunshine and juicy fruit! That’s quality!
Once I finally had cell service, I googled scentsy and spent a number of minutes filling my shopping cart with all of the fruity smelling sprays I could find. Once I was was ready to check out, I saw there was a join link, out of sheer curiosity… I clicked it.
I quickly learned that I could get a kickback on my own purchases! Say what? Then I saw how much stuff comes in the kit, and compared it with what I had in my cart, it was clear to me what I needed to do!
I definitely didn't want to miss out on getting paid to smell good, you've got to be kidding me right?
Well, here I am. 5 years later, and I’m still doing my thing! Never in a million years would I have dreamt that I would become a Fragrance Specialist! Changing lives through fragrance and loving it!
Scentsy to me is so much more than wax and warmers;It is my inspiration, my creative outlet, my connection, my family, my fun, my hopes and my dreams! It is by far the best $99 investment I've ever made!
Who would have ever thought that a tiny lady, who uses her bra for her room spray obsession could have such an GINORMOUS impact on my life!
If she could see me today, she'd be proud, 'cause I'd look deep into her eyes and say:
"I use this sh*+ on everything!"
